Starr Dance Company offers our students a special opportunity to showcase their talents, by being part of our Performance Company & Hip Hop Company!
Performance Company
Open to dancers ages 4 and up, the SDC Performance Company is designed for students who are passionate and dedicated to the art of dance. Company members train in a variety of dance styles with the goal of reaching their fullest potential as dancers.
Dancers will have the opportunity to:
Perform at local events
Attend conventions and in-studio workshops
Compete in two regional competitions during the season
Participate in a National competition in the summer
In addition to team opportunities, Company dancers can also choose to compete and perform in smaller groups or as individuals. Solo, duo, and trio routines may be entered in additional optional competitions throughout the season. These experiences help build self-confidence, teamwork, and lasting friendships!

Hip Hop Company
Dancers who want focus on Hip Hop are invited to audition for our Hip Hop Companies! Open to dancers ages 7 and up, the SDC Hip Hop Company is for students who are committed to growing as dancers and performers. Dancers in this company train in Hip Hop and a technique class, focusing on building both style and foundational strength.
