Tuition Rates
Tuition Policies
Payment Schedule
Our dance season runs from September through mid-June. Tuition is calculated for the full season (including holidays and potential snow days) and divided into 9.5 equal monthly payments.
Payment Schedule:
→Due by September 1: First and last month’s tuition (September plus ½ of June).
→Due on the 1st of each month, October through May: Monthly tution
This structure ensures consistency and makes budgeting easier for families.
Late Fees
A late fee of $20 will be added to any payments received after the 15th of the month.
Refunds
Tuition refunds are prorated based on the date a dancer drops classes. The prepaid June tuition (½ month, paid in September) is non-refundable.
Discounts
Save 5% on your full-season tuition when you pay in full by October 1! Payment must be made by cash or check.
Recital Fee
A $30 Recital Fee will be added to each dancer’s tuition on May 1st. This helps cover the recital video and a special end-of-year trophy for your dancer!
Recital Costume Fees
A costume deposit of $75 per costume is due on November 1st. The remaining balance will be due on February 1st, and you will be notified of your balance in January. Costume prices typically range from $95 to $110. Please note that costumes are non-refundable.
Studio Shoe List & Dress Code
Proper attire is essential for dancers’ safety and lets our instructors see body alignment clearly, prevent injuries, and support each dancer’s technical progress. That’s why we require form-fitting clothing in all classes.
Hair:
All long hair must be out of face (ponytail, bun, etc)
Clothes:
Form-fitting clothing is required in every class
Students should not wear jeans or baggy clothing to class
Dancers in Acro classes must have form fitting clothing
All dancers in Ballet must have a leotard and tights on
Shoes:
Dancers must have the proper shoes in order to participate in class
Dance shoes should only be worn inside the studio
We recommend buying shoes/dancewear online from Discount Dance or Dancewear Solutions, or visiting the Capezio Store in Wayne, NJ.

Getting Started
What ages do you teach?
We offer classes for dancers from 14 months through adult, at every skill level, from first-time dancers to advanced students.
How do I know which class is right for my child?
Classes are grouped by age, and dancers must be the correct age for their class by October 1, 2026. You can view our classes by age here. If you’re unsure about level placement, contact us and we’ll help you find the right fit!
Can my child try a class before registering?
Yes! Every dancer is welcome to come and take a free trial class. Contact the studio to schedule one.
Is it too late to join this season?
Not at all! Registration is open all year. Please note that dancers who enroll after February 1 may not be able to perform in the recital because of costume ordering deadlines.

Registration & Tuition
How do I register?
New families can register online here. Returning families can access their account here. A non-refundable registration fee of $20 per student or $30 per family holds your dancer’s spot.
How does tuition work?
Tuition is calculated for the full season and divided into 9.5 equal monthly payments. The first and last month’s tuition (September plus ½ of June) is due by September 1, and monthly payments are due on the 1st of each month from October through May. Payments received after the 15th incur a $20 late fee.
Are there any discounts?
Families who pay the full season in full by October 1 save 5% (cash or check). Classes are combined across all dancers in your family.
What if we need to drop a class?
Tuition refunds are prorated based on the date your dancer drops. The prepaid ½ month of June tuition is non-refundable.
Classes & Attendance
What if my dancer misses a class?
Dancers may make up a missed class in another class of the same style and level.
What happens on snow days?
Weather closures are announced by email and social media. Tuition already accounts for possible snow days, so no refunds are issued for weather closures.
Can parents watch class?
Yes! Both of our studios have a TV in the lobby so families can watch class live. Our East Hanover location also has a viewing window into the studio.
What should my dancer wear?
Form-fitting dancewear, proper shoes for each class, and long hair pulled back off the face. Ballet dancers need a leotard and tights. No jeans, pajamas, or baggy clothing. See our full Dress Code above for details.
Recital
Does every dancer perform in the recital?
All dancers enrolled in our season classes perform in our annual recital! Classes that run in 8-week sessions, including Dance With Me, Art In Motoin and Adult Tap, do not participate in the recital.
When and where is the 2027 recital?
Our recital, Turn Up the Volume, takes place June 11–13, 2027, at the Dolan Performance Hall in the Annunciation Center at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown. Dress Rehearsal is Saturday, May 22, 2027.
What does the recital cost?

Competition Company
How does my dancer join the Company?
Our Performance Company (ages 4 and up) and Hip Hop Company (ages 7 and up) are by audition only. Auditions are held each spring. Contact us to learn more.
