Payment Schedule
Our dance season runs from September through mid-June. Tuition is calculated based on the full season (including holidays and potential snow days) and divided into 9.5 equal monthly payments.
Payment Schedule:
→First and last month’s tuition (September + ½ of June) is due by September 1st.
→Monthly tuition payments are then due on the 1st of each month, from October through May.
This structure ensures consistency and makes budgeting easier for families, as each monthly payment is the same amount.
Late Fees
A late fee of $20 will be added to any payments received after the 15th of the month.
Refunds
At Starr Dance Company, tuition refunds are offered on a prorated basis according to the date classes are dropped. However, June tuition is non-refundable.
Discounts
Enjoy a 5% discount on your full season tuition when you pay in full by October 1st! Payments must be made by cash or check.
Recital Fee
A $30 Recital Fee will be added to each dancer’s tuition on May 1st. This helps cover the recital video and a special end-of-year trophy for your dancer!
Recital Costume Fees
A costume deposit of $75 per costume is due on November 1st. The remaining balance will be due on February 1st, and you will be notified of your balance in January. Costume prices typically range from $95 to $110. Please note that costumes are non-refundable.
Studio Shoe List & Dress Code
We recommend buying shoes/dancewear online from Discount Dance or Dancewear Solutions, or visiting the Capezio Store in Wayne, NJ.
